The Criminal Justice Student Association (CJSA) at San Diego State University is a student-led organization that connects students with shared interests in the criminal justice field. Our mission is to promote the study and practice of criminal justice while fostering community on and off campus.
Through weekly meetings, guest speakers, professional development opportunities, events, and service projects, CJSA helps members explore career paths, build relationships, and access valuable academic and professional resources.
Open to all SDSU students, guided by our bylaws, CJSA is committed to inclusivity, integrity, leadership, and service — creating a supportive environment where members can thrive.
Weekly Meetings
Our weekly meetings consist of bringing in guest speakers from across the criminal justice field to share their experiences, offer career insights, and connect with students.
Meetings are held on the second floor of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union in the Aztlán Room
Other than meetings, CJSA provides opportunities for members to go on prison, crime lab, and police tours, as well as enjoy tailgates and socials — giving students real-world experiences and a chance to connect outside the classroom.
