Growth Mindset can be identified as the belief in your ability to develop your intelligence and talent over time. This mindset embraces the idea of improvement as a positive, it embraces challenges, risks and failures. Having this mindset means embracing the, “power of yet” as stated by (Dweck). It is having the understanding that in order to achieve goals, setbacks and bumps along the road are part of the journey. It requires acceptance of dealing with hardships, having aptitude to draw inspiration from others’ success, having a positive outlook when receiving constructive criticism and giving maximum effort when no one is looking. Growth Mindset, according to Carol Dweck, “is when students understand that their abilities can be developed.” Having a Growth Mindset empowers individuals to always maintain a progressive outlook on life.
