In this section, we will use several types of visualizations to illustrate the insight of the hate crime dataset and the Mental Wellbeing Facilities dataset.
1. Word Cloud
2. Incident Location by Bias motivation: The site of an offense within a hate crime occurrence may be one of 46 location categories specified by agencies. The statistics gathered so far, however, are not yet representative of all location designations because not all reporting agencies have changed their programs to enable the relatively new location designations. Additionally, only the National Incident-Based Reporting System collects data on location types for cyberspace. The locations where hate crimes were reported from 2105 to 2019 were located.
Using the below graph we can conclude that in 2019, the highest percentage of incidents happened in residence /home locations in all bias motivation.
3. Heat Map of Hate Crime data and Mental Wellbeing centers: This map represents the mental wellbeing center location and heat map of hate crime incidents that occurred state-wise.
