Title I is an educational program funded by the federal government. Title I provides extra support to students who need it the most. Multiple data points are used to measure student progress. This data is then used to help guide teachers so we can make informed decisions about which students may be selected to receive Title I services. Once a child receives Title I support, his or her progress in reading will be monitored on a regular basis. Results of this progress monitoring will be used to drive Title I reading instruction. Students can exit Title I reading support when they meet grade level expectations.
