About Mrs. VanZanten

Hi! I began in the district in September 2014. I was a fifth grade teacher for 13 years in the North Penn School District before accepting a position here in Springfield. Since being in the district, I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade. For the past five years, I have been working as a Reading Specialist. Teaching children to read is extremely rewarding. I feel very lucky to work at Enfield with such wonderful students, teachers and administration.

I have a Masters in Education Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from University of Pennsylvania and Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

My husband, Eric and three boys Aidan, 18, Dalton, 16, and Davis, 13, reside in Warrington, Pa. In our free time we love spending time at the beach, community pool as well as watching and playing many baseball and soccer games!
