Hello, my name is Lillie Hightower! This is my second year at Newberry Middle School.

I grew up in Savannah, Georgia with my parents and two older brothers. 

I moved to South Carolina when I started college. I received my Bachelor's in History, with a Minor in Religion from Presbyterian College. During my time at Presbyterian College I was a cheerleader for PC's football and basketball teams, a member of the Eta Xi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, and a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, listening to music, playing pickleball, running

I have always had a love and passion for all things history and social studies. This year, I look forward to building lasting relationships with my students, and having a positive impact on the students I encounter for years to come!
