Snow Leopard

This is a Snow Leopard. Only 4500-7500 of these animals are living. They are found in the Himalayas in India and their present count is about 200-600. The causes of their endangerment are:

• Use of body parts for traditional medicine
• Poaching (One dead snow leopard can fetch 200 USD)
• Death of prey
