It is also important to choose the appropriate classes because the choices that students choose is what is used to determine the master schedule- which courses are offered, the number of sections of each class, and ultimately staffing. When you choose a class, you are committing to taking that class. It is very difficult to change classes once the master schedule has been created due to course conflicts and limited space in other classes.
Schedule changes will be made for the following reasons:

Failed a course that needs to be repeated before they can move on the next course in a sequence.
Needs a course to meet graduation requirements
Was placed in an incorrect class and/or has not met the prerequisites for a class
Was placed in a class due to a schedule conflict
Any other schedule change requests will be evaluated by the guidance counselor and/or school administration based on any extenuating circumstances and course availability.
