Our vision is to build quality programming that provides the stepping stones for multigenerational change through innovative opportunities for our San Diego youth. Our purpose is to ensure that school administrators, parents, community members and young people understand the value of expanded learning programs and the practitioners who are essential in creating exemplar student experiences.

Lisa has over 20 years experience in development and hands-on implementation of expanded and experiential learning environments. She is the Coordinator of the Learning is Expanding Lab, the first community laboratory dedicated to re-imagine learning.

Vy has over 23 years experience in business administration, accounting, and fiscal oversight at the SDCOE. Managing and supporting multiple state, federal, and local grants/contracts as well as entitlement and income driven accounts.
EXPERTISE: Grant & fiscal management of ASES, 21ST CCLC, ASSETS, SSEL & STEM, TUPE, Foster Youth & Homeless Education, Pass AmeriCorps, Friday Night Live/Club Live, Child Welfare Services, Special Ed and numerous other grants. Fiscal/Actuarial/Eligibility support for the JPA & FBC Worker’s Compensation, Property & Liability, and the Fringe Benefits Consortium.

Jose has served middle and high school students in various youth engagement programs. For the last six years, he has worked in student services for SDCOE. Most recently, Jose supported programs that provided critical support for students in foster care and those experiencing homeless.
