For all non-freshmen teachers, if you'd like you can send copies of the following planner to the copy center. Make sure you get it 3-holed punched and back to back.

10: Use information within 10 minutes of learning it (classwork)

24: Use the information within 24 hours (homework, study, warm ups, bellringers)

7: Review the information again within 7 days (classwork, homework, study, etc.

10-2-2

10 minutes: receiving information/taking notes (Whole group Instruction or Reading Text selection)

2 minutes: processing information (Partners/Small Groups Processing)

2 minutes: summarizing information (Independent Summarizing)

Last 5 minutes of class: Students interact with teacher (can ask questions, get clarification, etc.)
