Springdale Elementary Science will anchor instruction in the standards while utilizing a diverse range of resources for the upcoming school year including the district's own Springdale Science Units, and explore the free open source OpenSciEd, and Mystery Science (which may be purchased by buildings for school-wide access or offers free trials).
Springdale Science Curriculum Resources
Each Unit outlines specific learning objectives, essential questions, and a sample four-week learning progression with suggested activities and resources from the Picture Perfect Science Program, including trade books and hands-on experiments. The units also provide assessment options and necessary materials.
