Course Overview
Arkansas K-12 Science Standards "Chemistry - integrated is an integrated science course that focuses on conceptual understanding of the foundational chemistry and physics core ideas, science and engineering practices, and crosscutting concepts and is composed of chemistry, physics, Earth and space science, and engineering design standards. Additionally, it should be noted that the chemistry - integrated standards are not intended to be used as curriculum. Instead, the standards are the minimum that students should know and be able to do. Therefore, teachers should continue to differentiate for the needs of their students by adding depth and additional rigor.."
There are 6 units with the major focus on unit 4. Units 1-3 are to be used to establish background knowledge and moved through quickly.
