Prusa 3D Printers

  Prusas are used to print a variety of 3D prints. Prints can be static and unmoving or articulated with individual joints. PLA filmant makes up the majority of the prints, but we also have recycled plastic and biodegradable plant based filament as well.  Students can utilize already existing files or create their own from scratch. Use free programs like Blender and Tinkercad to make your own 3D files. 

Glowforge Laser Printer 

This laser has the ability to cut and engrave up to 1/4" thick wood, acrylic, fabric, leather and paper. Students use the Glowforge to create mementos, earrings, bookmarks, keychains, puzzles and more!

The Bagamad Recording Studio came to fruition in the Fall of 2022 with the help of students who were convinced they could rap well and needed a space to exercise their talents. The recording studio is now home to boom microphones, over the ear headphones, Behringer sound boards and a Mac desktop computer. Students create recordings for their classwork and personal entertainment.
The name Bagamad means "A Storm Is Coming" and was chosen by student Marcell Corbine.

iPads & iPencils**

The AHS Library iPads have graphic design, animation and video editing apps Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Green Screen. Students use the iPads to design logos, stickers, comics, short films, and other multimedia works. This animation was made by AHS student, Natalie Bybee!

DJI Mini 3 Pro**

Cricuts are fine cutting tools and there is almost always a Cricut slicing away in the Makerspace. Design your own custom vinyl stickers, cards, shirt and window decals in Cricut Design Space.

From book bags to keychains to jingle dresses, you can use the sewing machine to dip your toes in sewing. Let Sheva or Mrs. Tomlinson know if you'd like to give it a try. 

Beading Supplies**

Our beading supplies were purchased in consultation with our AHS student beading experts. The Makerspace has a wide variety of seed beads, cabs, leather backing, earring backs, string, beading trays, super glue, etc.
