Students come to STEAM class once a week for 45 minutes as part of their specials rotation. In class, we focus on grade-level appropriate science, technology, engineering, arts, and math concepts. We work on fine motor skills through hands-on exploration. We do not strive to be "right" or "perfect" in STEAM class. Rather, students are encouraged to do their best work and, the importance of certain behaviors is stressed throughout each new skill or concept.

Flexibility- open-mindedness to new ideas or ways of doing things
