Alicia Bartlett

Drama/Dance/Musical Theatre

Alicia Bartlett has been teaching at Stelly’s for 10 years. She trained as a dancer at Elite Dance Studio and Allegro Performing Arts centre for over 20 years, and also directs the musical theatre program at Allegro Performing Arts Centre. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specialising in Applied Theatre. Alicia has directed and choreographed numerous musical theatre productions at Stelly’s, including “Anything Goes”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Curtains” and “Shrek: The Musical”. Alicia is overjoyed that she has been able to turn her passion into a profession, and considers herself lucky to work with amazing students and colleagues every day!

Norbert Ziegler

Concert Band, Jazz Band, Vocal Jazz, Choir, Musical Theatre Pit Orchestra, Guitar

Norbert Ziegler has been teaching at Stelly's for 7 years. He holds a master in music from the University of Victoria in Music Performance as well as a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria. His main instrument is the French Horn which he has played for 22 years. Norbert can be found performing around Victoria with such groups as Brasstastic, Maridiam Wind Orchestra, Victoria Oporatic Society, and the Canadian Collage of Performing Arts. Over the past 7 years he has been the music director for numerous show at Stelly's including “Anything Goes”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Curtains” and “Shrek: The Musical”. Norbert considers him self very lucky to be teaching at Stelly's the home of the most amazing students and staff.

Tim Lockhart

Stagecraft

Tim Lockhart has been teaching at Stelly's for four year now. He finds the students and staff to be extended family, a place he looks forward to going everyday. Tim has a Visual Arts diploma from Camosun College and a Bachelors of Education degree (Art expanded) from the University of Victoria. He teaches Art, Wood technologies. Indigenous/Folk Art, Careers and Stagecraft courses. Tim has been working in manufacturing and building industries for 30 plus years. These skills nicely transfer in helping produce props and sets within Stelly's fine arts programs. He has helped on the following musicals in SD 63 "Anything Goes", " The Crucible", "Curtains", Shrek The Musical." Being around creative people is part of his DNA.
