Rowing 

We are excited about our upcoming season! If you missed our first meeting, but are still interested in rowing, please pick up forms from Ms. Pomphrey in room 201 ASAP.

FORMS & FEES:

• Waivers must be signed, returned, and fees paid in order to row at the first practice on Sept. 20th. 

• Once you have signed and returned the GVYRS waiver, you will also see a $180 charge on your child's school account. This fee covers insurance, equipment, facility costs and Rowing Canada/Rowing BC member fees. 

MEETINGS & PRACTICES:

• There will be a mandatory meeting for all rowers on Thursday (Sept. 18th) at 12:07 to confirm numbers for our first practice on Sept. 20th. 

• Practices are Saturdays (8:30-10:30) and Sundays (10:30-12:30) at Elk Lake from Sept 20th - Oct 26th. Because it is such a short season, ideally everyone would be able to make all the practices, but occasionally other things come up.  If your student needs to miss a practice, please have them let us know in advance. 

• It is the responsibility of the family to arrange transportation to and from Elk Lake for practices.
