Getting into the Google Classroom (Wednesday) and working on the digital draft of the dream house/bedroom creative writing pieces today.  Students should have at least 100 words in their Google Doc in preparation for editing and revising on Friday.  Creative writing pieces due Monday, September 15th to the Google Classroom.

Starting with paragraph writing soon!

Each paragraph submitted to Ms. Cottier must:

1. Be between 150 and 300 words.

2. Written in your own words.

3. Include a creative title.

4. Start with an intriguing introduction.

5. Finish with a powerful statement.

6. Be edited and revised.

Social Studies: 🌎⚓

Diving into Civilizations from the 500's to the 1600's.  Please note that there is no textbook for Social Studies- all content and information pieces will be available in the Google Classroom.

Starting our "City Planning" assignment where students will be designing their very own civilization on an 11" x 17" piece of paper.  It is important that students take consideration to economy, food sources, government, and other factors that make a civilization thrive.  No homework for this activity yet- it will continue next week.
