Monday, February 2nd- Typing our digital drafts of our "Excerpt 1: The Disappearance" today. Students should have strong thoughts and reacations to this short story. Students will have some time tomorrow to edit and revise. Personal response paragraphs DUE Thursday, February 5th.
Friday, January 30th- "Excerpt 1- The Disappearance"- short story today. Students are drafting ideas for a personal response paragraph- reactions, opinions, questions (and there should be plenty as this story is in reference to the 'sixties scoop'). We will be typing our paragraphs on Monday.
Tuesday, January 27th- Students are editing and revising their personal response paragraphs to "All Summer in a Day" today. Personal thoughts, reactions, questions, and connections should be evident. Personal response paragraphs will be due Monday, February 2nd.

Friday, January 30th- Starting our 11" x17" Google Slide Wanted posters today. Students are selecting an historical individual from the criteria list and using their research skills to come up for a reason that they could be wanted for, in addition to practicing their design skills with a silhouette. Students will have one more block on Thursday to finish designing their posters.
Thursday, January 29th- Students are finalizing their Battle of Agincourt Rhyming poems on Google Slides- a minimum of 8 lines. Agincourt Rhyming poems will be due by Thursday, February 5th.
Diving into Civilizations from the 500's to the 1600's. Please note that there is no textbook for Social Studies- all content and information pieces will be available in the Google Classroom.
