Friday, Oct 10th- Stay Gold Ponyboy! We are officially starting our Outsiders novel study today (a right of passage for all middle school students in my opinion). No homework just yet- but students will be completing a series of five assignments to demonstrate their comprehension- four during and the final one after the watching of the movie.
Wednesday, Oct. 8- Typing our narrative paragraphs and ensuring that we are retelling a brief moment, occassion, or event. Please avoid any direct dialogue to the short nature of this writing piece. Narrative paragraphs will be due Tuesday, October 14th to the Google Classroom.
Each paragraph submitted to Ms. Cottier must:
Be between 150 and 300 words.
Be indented.
Written in your own words.
Include a creative title.
Start with an intriguing introduction.
Finish with a powerful statement.
Be edited and revised.
