What we're doing: We welcomed students into our garden for a half hour outdoor lesson and gardenshowcase
We will be welcoming classes to come to Mount Doug’s own school garden for a tour! On the native plant side, students will learn about local wildflowers, pollinators, and native vs. invasive species. On the produce plant side, students will learn about our process of sowing, growing, and harvesting edible plants.
Impact: We toured 60 elementary students around the garden!
