1. The portfolio is an opportunity for you to provide evidence of your achievements and excellence in your specialty area.
2. A portfolio should contain a compilation of your achievements and be presented in a way which is visually appealing. Use creativity to make your portfolios interesting and easy for the school scholarship committee to assess your achievements in your specialty area.
3. The portfolio will be in electronic format submitted using Google Sites (do not use "classic sites"). Each specialty area has its own portfolio criteria. To find this criteria, use the dropdown menu from this webpage.
4. You should annotate your portfolio.
For example, note your role in the assignment, why you have included that particular example in their portfolio, explain what you did and what was involved. Use accomplishment statements wherever possible.
Use your name as your title.
Clearly indicate your specialty area.
Include your letter to the scholarship committee on this page.
This letter must outline your motivation for pursuing area of interest, impact of this involvement, highlights of achievement, personal/educational goals and a plan for attaining these goals Do not stray from these conditions. It is perfectly acceptable if your future goals are different from your specialty area.
Word Count: 250 - 500 maximum
Optional: Include a headshot of yourself. Please be mindful of your audience, however.

Each event or accomplishment must be written in reverse chronological order. Emphasis and priority should be placed on your specialty area. In other words, if you are applying for athletics, list your athletics accomplishments first.

This is an ACADEMIC resume, therefore work experience that is not in your specialty area should not be emphasized. Place work experience at the very end, should you not have two pages of other content.
