Unified Soccer

Football is considered the world’s most popular sport for children and adults around the world. Similarly, it is one of the most popular sports for Special Olympics athletes. Athletes are able to improve their overall physical fitness through training and competition.

We offer Unified Soccer, Team Soccer as well as Individual Skills. For information about traditional soccer and soccer skills, please see the Sports section.

Unified Soccer is open to athletes and partners from 4th grade to 8th grade in our district. Unlike Unified golf and bocce, partners need to be students in District 54. Athletes and Partners work together on the field as a team. Unified soccer provides a great way for siblings to get involved in Special Olympics by joining a team with their sibling with a disability.

Registration is open in August and the season runs until early November.
