Week of 6/1-6/2 Camping Theme!
Your child's packet should include:
Worksheet packet
“How to Make S’mores” writing booklet
S’more snack
All about Montana coloring page
If you can't roast your marshmallow, enjoy your s’more by microwaving the marshmallow on top of one cracker and the chocolate. When you see the marshmallow puffing up, take it out of the microwave right away. It should be all squishy and delicious.
If you can, set up a tent (or make a fort) and pretend you are camping. Read books by flashlight in the tent, play some outdoor sounds of birds chirping, build a “campfire” with paper towel tubes and tissue paper, or whatever their little imaginations come up with. The goal is to have fun! If you take pictures, I would love to see them! See below for more ideas, and click on the picture to follow the link!
