Guiding Self-Reflection
Guiding Self-Reflection
The digital MAP is a representation of who students are as learners. Two things to keep in mind...
1. Self-reflection is a PROCESS of thinking about your feelings, behaviors, and thoughts, including why and how this makes a great learner. Students self-examining who they are as they learn. This is the time to slow down and provide students with opportunities to think.
2. The MAP is an ongoing and always changing PRODUCT because as a learner, they are always growing and changing. Therefore, their MAP isn't just for what they do in school, but what they do ALL THE TIME. The product can be used for things like student-led conferences, show and tell, exit strategies, Capstone, scholarship, and applications.
