My First Writing Sample

Here's my first attempt at an essay. My grammar is pretty good, but my writing is messy. I also need some more words to describe the things I'm writing about. Somethings to work on might be how I hold my pencil. I can also use Google Read & Write to get my ideas onto paper without worrying too much about my printing.

My Revised Story

Here's my revised essay. Notice the printing is clearer and the ideas have better descriptive words. I used Read & Write first, then practiced my printing after.

My Final Essay

This is the final version of my essay. It changed quite a bit. I learned how to use words to describe actions and objects. As well, I can see that I am indenting my paragraphs to show separate groups of thoughts.

Strengths

I'm good at spelling and using periods. I also like to read novels like "Harry Potter" and comics.

Stretches

I want to get better at how my writing looks. Right now my writing is messy an is hard to read sometimes. This happens when I rush.

Interests

I really like to write about things that interest me. I enjoy reading and writing about sports, superheros, and amusement parks.

"Next Steps"

I'm going to try to improve how my writing looks. I also want to get better at describing things in my stories.
