This workshop takes participants through a hands-on activity for mapping BC’s Core Competencies onto the design thinking process. The aim is to show how the two are closely align in both intent and language and establish how a teacher might use design thinking to authentically develop core competencies in every student. Participants will also build a practical assessment tool for evaluating student progress in both design thinking and the core competencies.
