Citing Reference Sources

Whenever a student incorporates an idea, quote, data, image of other content that is not theirs into a paper of project, they must list the source of information in the form of a bibliography or citation.

Primary students should include: title, author and year of publication for a book, and for a Website, note the title, URL, and date of access.

Intermediate students are encouraged to use standard citation format (MLA). A very handy website that will format resources correctly is the following: Noodle Tools. It is the chosen tool used by our high schools and is approved by our school district.
