About Mr. McGehee

Mr. McGehee is thrilled to be in his fourth year as the choir director at Murphy!  

Mr. McGehee grew up in Peoria, IL where he graduated from Bradley University with a degree in music education.  He also has his Master's degree in music education from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA.  He is a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA).

Mr. McGehee and his wife have a two-year-old daughter, Addison, and a newborn, Parker! They also have three pets - two cats and a bird!

In his free time, he enjoys making music, puzzles and games, chess, drawing, spending time with his wife and kids, and playing with their pets!
