This class starts with the history of photography and continues to aesthetics and the fundamentals of good photographic composition. Digital SLR camera operation is taught and cameras are provided for students to borrow throughout the Semester. Some advanced camera techniques are also covered. In addition, students will learn multiple digital editing techniques in Adobe Photoshop. This course has a test demonstration for graduation.
Commercial Photography II MM350A/B

This class is designed to build on the skills and concepts learned in Digital Photography I. Students will learn more advanced and professional camera techniques and picture-taking skills. This course will emphasize photography in regards to communication, visual design, lighting, and color. Students will also learn more extensive Adobe Photoshop skills and techniques. Students who are considering photography in their post-secondary education are strongly encouraged to take this course. This course has a test demonstration for graduation.
