Quinceanera

We were really excited about doing a quinceanera spread, and I wanted this page to stand out. When I saw this dominant photo, I knew I wanted to make it huge to stand out. I saw near Sophia and her dress a perfect place for the headline to interact as well as the copy. I wanted the "S" of the headline to break the space of the photo to draw the reader into the headline and copy after looking at the main photo. I drew a black border around two of the four corners because I wanted white to appear on two of the sides. The black border allowed me to put a block of quotes from her friends who participated in the event.  I placed the pull-out quote in the center and had the quotation marks touch the photo package so both of these elements seem connected.
