Business Professionals of America (BPA): Business Professionals of America is the leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, accounting, information technology, and other related career fields. Students participate in regional competitions that can qualify them for state and national competitions. BPA is led by Ryan Hasselstrom.
Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA): HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. A student must join HOSA in order to participate in the health occupation courses including FHP, Med Term, CNA, PT Aide, Pharmacy Tech, & Health Unit Clerk. HOSA is led by Elizabeth McLeod.
Future Farmers of America (FFA): FFA is a dynamic youth organization within agricultural education that changes lives and prepares students for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. FFA is led by Madison Flick.
Knowledge Bowl: Knowledge Bowl is a team event that tests your trivia skills in all subjects. It includes random facts, math, science, history, ect... Knowledge bowl meets once a week and competes monthly at area schools. Knowledge Bowl is led by Darbie Duclos.
Prairie League: An all girls group that is a part of the history of Prairie High School that promotes unity, school spirit, and a sense of community. Prairie League organizes locker decorations, Daddy Date Night, Mother Daughter Tea, Sadie Hawkins, Jr/Sr Wakeup, and Big Sister/Little Sister program. Prairie League is led by Tara Rowland.
Student Council: Student Council is a group of elected students working together to provide a means for student expression, leadership, and assistance in school affairs and activities. Student Council officers are voted into office in May for the following year. A class representative is chosen from each class during class elections at the beginning of the school year. Student Council sponsors Homecoming Week, school assemblies, and a school dance.
