Using music in your French classroom is an excellent way to share the French culture and to work on listening and writing while applying various language learning strategies. Below are a number of great songs to listen to and work with for your students. I have made worksheets for each song. Of course, there are the complete lyrics in French and English. There is also versions of the French lyrics which have words taken out. The students can listen to the music and write down their predictions of what they hear. Also, you will find activities to make sense of the lyrics as well. Click HERE if you would like an activity sheet for the students to express their likes and dislikes of the music including reasons why.
