Club Mystere! is an engaging series that uses animation and solving mysteries to build French language skills from Grades 4-7. Offered in a bite sized approach to developmental learning, Club mystere encourages conversation as the students search for clues.
This is a really great program and can be used by any teacher--from those with little French to fluent speakers.
This program will cover the whole curriculum with students speaking, reading, writing, and interacting.

Here are the downloads for doing the Sugar Shack in your classroom. You can sign out the hotplate, infra-red thermometer, measuring cup, stir spoon, etc. from the DRC as a kit. You will need some popsicle sticks, syrup, and a little bit of butter. The PowerPoint notes section gives lots of information about each slide for you to share with your class.
These sashes and spoons can be used with the Cabane a Sucre unit. They are in the DRC under Metis culture.
