Awaken Inquiry & Adventure Okanagan is a linear program that runs from September to June each year. Students can remain in the Awaken program from their year of entry until graduation in grade 12.
Awaken students are enrolled in Fulton Secondary and attend all their courses within the Awaken program.
Grade 7 - 9 students complete a standard set of courses including:
Math, Science, English, PHE, Social Studies, Art, ADST, and Careers.
Grade 10 - 12 students have more choices in how they direct their education, particularly within the electives they choose. Typically, grade 10 - 12 students in Awaken complete a course schedule as depicted below.

*Electives for students in grades 10, 11 and 12 depend on student interest and the direction they take in their education.
**For grade 11 & 12 students who have demonstrated an ability to learn independently, a collaboration with V-Learn is available for select courses (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Calculus).
