Climate change is meteorological and temperature changes in the long term. Over time, an area’s climate can warm up, receive less precipitation, or experience more droughts.
Global warming is the rising of the global temperature due to an increase in greenhouse gases.
Greenhouse gases are gases in the atmosphere that trap heat from the sun. Therefore, they contribute to global warming. They include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and hydrofluorocarbons.
To recognize the most iconic victim of the palm oil industry, International Orangutan Day has been set for August 19th. This event is to help encourage the public to take action in preserving this amazing species.

This little porpoise wasn't discovered until 1958 and a little over half a century later, we are on the brink of losing them forever. With only 10 individuals, they are found in the Gulf of California.
As greenhouse gas emissions blanket Earth, they trap the sun’s heat. This process leads to global warming and consequently climate change. The world is now warming faster than at any point in recorded history.
Higher temperatures worsens disasters, such as storms, heatwaves, floods, droughts.
Dirtier air.
Higher wildlife extinction rates.
Higher sea levels.
Educate yourself. It's better to know what's happening than be clueless.
Turn off the lights and unplug your devices. Half of the electricity is wasted when not used.
Walk or bike to school if you live close to it.
Take shorter showers and use less water.
The greenhouse effect is the process in which the emission of greenhouse gas, hovering in the atmosphere, accumulate as clouds to form a thick layer blocking the natural infrared radiation rejected by the planet's surface.
