I'm Aldea Joanne Ambrosio. My family and I immigrated from the Philippines when I was just 7 years old. This life-changing experience instilled in me a strong sense of independence, discipline, and a relentless drive to achieve my goals. As a spontaneous and adventurous individual, I thrive on new experiences and challenges. In school, I'm an active student-athlete and leader, heading the Filipino-American Student Association (FASA), Interact, and Media Clubs. Through hands-on classes like Video Production and Fashion Design, I express my creativity and explore innovative ways of learning. Although these fields may not be my primary career path, they provide creative expression while providing a refreshing break from traditional textbook learning.
Track and Field is my true passion. Specializing in the 100-meter and 300-meter hurdles, I also participate in the 4x1 and 4x4 relays. My aspiration is to compete at the collegiate level and, one day, represent my country in the Olympics. Thanks to the guidance and support of my coaches and trainers, I'm inspired to pursue a career in kinesiology. In addition to my interested in sports, I’ve been playing volleyball since 7th grade, skating around on my skateboard since the age of 6, baking since 2020, learning Aikido since the summer, and have enjoyed reading since forever. I also dabble here and there playing the piano and guitar. I'm proud to be a multifaceted individual, always eager to discover new passions and push beyond my limits.
