Welcome to the SCUSD BPSB (Black Parallel School Board) Action Plan!
Our mission is to remove systemic barriers and to ensure that all students, particularly Black students, students with disabilities, and Black students with disabilities, in the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) receive a high-quality, equitable education. This plan is a collaborative effort between SCUSD, the Black Parallel School Board, community partners, and families to address the unique barriers faced by Black students, students with disabilities, and Black students with disabilities. We are dedicated to dismantling systemic inequities, improving academic outcomes, and ensuring that every Black student, including those with disabilities, has access to the support and resources needed to thrive. Together, we are committed to creating increased transparency, thoughtful and impactful accountability, leading to lasting change for our students and community!
