Senior Timeline
October 1, 2026: UC/CSU Application Submission Opens:
Students may begin submitting applications to UC/CSU campuses for Fall 2027 admission.

October 1, 2026: FAFSA / CADAA Opens
Students planning to attend a four-year college, community college or trade schools should complete the 2027–28 FAFSA or California Dream Act Application.

November 30, 2026: UC/CSU Application Deadline
Final day to submit Fall 2027 UC applications. Students should avoid waiting until the last day if possible. Some CSU campuses or programs may remain open later, but students should treat November 30 as the deadline.
January–February 2027: Check College Applicant Portals
Students should check email and applicant portals for missing documents, residency questions, supplemental information, transcript requests, and financial-aid requirements.
February 2027: Apply to Community College through CCCApply
Students planning to attend a California Community College should apply early enough to complete orientation, educational planning, financial aid, and registration before fall classes fill. After applying and receiving a student ID number students should activate their college account immediately and monitor it for enrollment, financial aid, residency, and registration information.

Spring 2027: Complete Community College Orientation/ Educational planning and Counseling
New community college students should complete orientation as early as possible. It may be required for enrollment priority. Students should meet with a counselor or complete required planning steps to determine courses needed for their major, certificate, degree, or transfer pathway.
March 2, 2027: FAFSA / CADAA California Priority Deadline
Students attending UC, CSU, private college, or community college should complete financial aid by this date for priority consideration for California aid programs.
Spring 2027: Create and approve grants on Webgrants
24 hours after completing your FAFSA/CADAA create and approve your grants through Webgrants.
March 2027: UC Admission Decisions Released
UC campuses generally release first-year admission decisions during March. Students should check each campus portal.
April 12, 2027: Los Rios Fall 2027 Enrollment Begins
Los Rios students receive individual registration appointments. Students should check eServices for their specific registration date and time. Students should register as soon as their enrollment appointment opens. Waiting until summer can significantly reduce available course options.
April 2027: UC Waitlist Opt-In Deadlines
Students offered a UC waitlist should review the deadline listed in their admission portal and opt in if they want to remain under consideration.
May 1, 2027: UC/CSU Statement of Intent to Register Deadline
Students admitted to a UC/CSU’s must submit their SIR by the campus deadline, generally May 1 for first-year students.
May–June 2027: Complete Housing, Orientation & Enrollment Requirements
Four-year college students may need to complete housing applications, orientation registration, placement activities, immunization records, or other campus requirements.
June 2027: Send Final High School Transcript When Required
Students should make sure their final transcript is sent to the college they will attend. Community colleges may also need transcripts for placement, prerequisites, or financial-aid purposes.

July 2027: UC AP / IB Score Deadline
Students enrolling at a UC should send official AP and IB exam results by the required deadline through College Board.
