The dual enrollment program lets high school students take community college classes and earn college credit while still in high school. College units can also help in getting high school credits if you turn in your official college transcript to Rosemont's registrar! Directions on this process are below.
To take a dual enrollment class you will need approval from a parent and a high school counselor. Please fill out this google form to inform your counselor of the courses you are wishing to take and to understand the impacts of signing up for a college course. Please read through everything carefully!
RISE stands for Respect, Integrity, Self-determination & Education.
Jr. RISE is a college preparation and retention program for 11th- and 12th-graders that extends through their first year of college. The program strives to provide a space for students to explore life’s options beyond high school, while creating bonds with others who have similar goals. Students in the program may simultaneously earn college credit and high school credit. They will start college with friendships in place and completed college credits already in the portfolio, making the transition between high school and college seamless.
If interested in joining Jr. Rise, please contact Ms. Sandberg.
