WHO ARE WE? - CHI SIAMO?
Located in the vibrant city of Turin (Torino), Italy, the "Piero Calamandrei" Secondary School (Scuola Secondaria di I Grado) is a dynamic educational institution dedicated to students aged 11 to 14. Our school is named after Piero Calamandrei, a distinguished Italian jurist and one of the founding fathers of the Italian Constitution, whose values of civic responsibility and freedom inspire our daily teaching.
Our Curriculum We pride ourselves on offering a diverse curriculum that caters to the different talents of our students. Our educational offer includes:
Standard Curriculum: A balanced mix of humanities, sciences, and languages.
Enhanced Time (Tempo Potenziato): For students who wish to deepen their studies with additional hours dedicated to specific subjects.
Musical Course: A distinctive feature of our institute, where students have the opportunity to learn musical instruments and perform in an orchestra, fostering creativity and discipline.
Our Mission At Scuola Calamandrei, we believe in a school that is open to the world. We actively promote digital innovation, inclusivity, and European citizenship. Participating in the Erasmus+ project is a natural extension of our mission, allowing our students and staff to exchange ideas, cultures, and best practices with partners across Europe. We aim to bridge the gap between our local reality and the wider European context, giving our students the tools they need to become active global citizens. We are excited to embark on this journey of shared learning and international friendship.
