Student Resources

Arroyo Student-Led Clubs

As we discussed in our assembly, students can create clubs for other students to join. These will be supported by school, so you will need to fill out an application and meet with Mrs. Shelton to confirm your club. Then we will publish the clubs for students to join and have a great time working together. Below you will find the directions:

  1. Create a club idea - something you are passionate about, want to share, or would enjoy doing with other students.

  2. Make a copy of the Club Application and complete one per group.

  3. Email to Mrs. Shelton mshelton@scsdk8.org no later than Nov. 13

  4. You will meet with Mrs. Shelton over Zoom during the week of Nov. 16. She will email you to set it up, so please check your emails.

  5. Once clubs are approved, other students will be able to sign up during the week of Nov. 30. Club meetings will begin the first week of December.

EPIC Library - Arroyo

Need More Books?

A challenge we have this year is keeping kids "in books". Here are some pro tips on how to keep up with the book needs.

  1. EPIC! We have access to Epic through your child's Clever account. This is a library of leveled, high interest books. You can click the link on the left to help find books at your level!

  2. Our local libraries are doing a curbside pick up. You can go online, order books, and then do a safe, no contact pick up!

  3. Hoopla and Libby are online lending libraries that are supported by our local libraries.
