- Lecture – Often to introduce the “problem” to be worked on and to give knowledge of tools you will need – both hand tools and knowledge (math/science) tools.
- Brainstorming/Design – You will work out on paper/computer some ideas and initial design to solve your “problem.” This often will be initially done individually before getting into your group.
- Develop and Test – Your group will be building your “problem” solver.
- Presentation – All projects will be presented to the rest of the class.
- Tests – After the project is over, there may be a test on some of the knowledge tools.
Notebook (Portfolio/Blog) Assignment:
- You will be required to turn in a blog/portfolio that displays some of your best work from this class.
- This assignment will count as a major part of your final grade.
- You must keep all work that you have completed in this class, in order to be prepared for this assignment.
- You will need a (small three-ring binder or Blog) with tabs to separate the sections.

- Pre-Quiz (will be completed using SkillAce before starting a LAP)
- Segments Answers, LAP Notes & Data Collection (each LAP’s assignments will be recorded)
- Quiz (will be completed using SkillAce at the end of each LAP, notes can be used)
- Module Test (will be completed using SkillAce at the end of all the station’s LAPs)
- Career Assessment Activity
- Essay (Type 2 an original 1 page, 12 pt Times New Roman in MLA format)
- Original Video
- Interview
- Other approved activity
- Extra LAP (Publish an activity/skill with objectives, one photo, and clear step by step procedures.)
