My name is Mr. Waugaman. I grew up in a small town around the area. I am a graduate of The Ohio State University. GO BUCKEYES! I worked my summers at Cedar Point as an artist drawing portraits and airbrushing merchandise. I eventually worked there full-time as an artist, making signs and various other scenic designs and propping. My most memorable time was training other artists for the job. I am also greatly involved with many local theaters both on stage and behind the scenes. Harlequins Theater in Sandusky is my favorite theater to be at. I am a cat dad to Zeus. I love living in Sandusky and being so close to the water. Sharing my love of the arts is one of my favorite things to do! Again, I am really looking forward to this new school year!
Welcome Back!
Welcome to our new challenges and adventure of our 2020-2021 school year. I am excited to get this school year started. It is going to be challenging and frustrating at times. I hope that the time spent in art will be used as a chance to grow new skills and take a moment to express ourselves through art. It is my belief that every student is an artist. My classroom will be a safe environment for your child to feel inspired and find their creativity. I want to challenge them to be problem solvers and explorers in all that they do. We have so many exciting things to discover and learn. I am looking forward to all the adventures we will have.
