Principal’s Message:

The Sandusky Early Learning Academy’s (SELA) staff are here to provide our early student learners in preschool and kindergarten with the fundamental skills they will need to learn and grow. Our responsibility is to lay a solid education foundation so that our student learners can begin to build a pillar of knowledge, success and educational strength during each year of their academic journey.

My goal as a 18 year educational leader and the current principal of the Sandusky Early Learning Academy is to be the construction foreman/leader of this academic empire. I am determined to make sure that I lead my team of educational construction staff in a way that will provide a safe and conducive environment for learning. I will also create a collaborative blueprint that fosters successful learning opportunities between staff, students and community stakeholders while enforcing best practice strategies with rigor and fidelity throughout the instructional process.

We strive to do our best to provide the very BEST for our early student learners. While the physical building of the Sandusky Early Learning Academy is under construction at the old Hancock site, our educational empire will continue to be under construction as we continue to improve and develop our plans of mastery for the students that we serve.

I will continue to model and lead as we continue to develop as a team so that our students can grow. The staff at the Sandusky Early Learning Academy is the brick and mortar of the Sandusky City School District. Let’s continue to build one solid layer at a time together.
