Let's Get Acquainted

Hello!

My name is Mrs. Sidoti-Palmer. I've been with Sandusky City Schools since 2005. When I started with SCS, I was a reading teacher at Osborne Elementary School; working with 2nd and 3rd grades, I then left the elementary and started teaching Home Economics at Adams Junior High. From there I moved on to Sandusky Middle School to work with students for Behavior Intervention Assistance. My School Counseling experience began at the middle school level, moved on to the elementary level, RCAAS, SDA, and ended where I am today...Sandusky High School working with the best high school students in the world!

I graduated from Sandusky High School in 1995. From there I began my college career at BGSU Firelands and transferred to The Ohio State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology and a Home Economics Teaching License. Extending on my quest to earn an additional Teaching License, I attended Ashland University to earn a PreK-3rd grade Teaching License. From there my education continued at Heidelberg University where I graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling and became a Licensed Professional School Counselor.

I am the mother of two children; Alex and Augie. I am married to my best friend, Andy, Together we love to travel and camp. We plan to visit all 50 states in our lifetime, and every Fall you can find us cheering on our BUCKEYES!

I am very passionate about my kids (students). Anyone that knows me can tell you that I advocate for ALL STUDENTS at ALL TIMES. I love my job and consider it a privilege to work for SHS. Go Streaks!
