WHAT WE DO: Offering a comprehensive academic curriculum and intensive preprofessional training, students will be prepared for the rigorous competition of program acceptance at the college level, as well as experience for the professional art world.

GLVPAA students are encouraged to intern through the Global Internship program if they are interested in a careers in the Arts. for example: Arts Education, Arts Management, Performance Arts, Arts Therapy, and Graphic Design. Some programs you can intern in: the Michelle Ziemke Student Art Gallery, the Regional Center for Arts and Academic Studies Arts programs, Summer Arts Camps and the Jr. Arts Academy Elementary After-School Program, internship hours will be documented as volunteer hours and will help boost your resume and college application. WHAT WE DO: This free elementary after-school program is offered to 3rd-6th grade students with the generous support of Sandusky City Schools, Oberlin Center for the Arts, Wightman Weiber Foundation, Erie County Community Foundation, The Dorn Foundation and the Frohman Foundation. Student learn to create through their choice of Visual Art, Guitar, Music, Dance and Theatre sessions that meet on Tuesday, Wedneday and Thursdays from the fall-spring .
