ONLINE SCHOLARSHIPS

Friends and supporters of the College invest every year in VHCC students through their generous contributions to the VHCC Educational Foundation. These donations provide a variety of student scholarships, which are awarded to both first-year and second-year students and are based on academic performance, financial need and a variety of other factors.

Applications are now being accepted for scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year.  You will need to fill out the application form and a FAFSA to be considered (even if you don’t believe you are eligible for public federal or state financial aid).  Applications must be completed by Friday, April 17, 2020 – no late applications will be accepted.

To access the VHCC Educational Foundation Scholarship webpage, please visit www.vhcc.edu/foundationscholarship.   We encourage you to submit your application early and online.

If you have questions, please call 276-739-2449.

Our state counterpart in higher education, the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), developed online materials for our students to navigate the process of preparing, applying, paying and going to college.

This effort is part of SCHEV’s 1-2-3 Go!Virginia’s Three Steps to College initiative. The materials are located through the link 123Go! Student Toolkits.
