WELCOME BACK!!!

Whether you're looking for a good book, need help finding something fun to read at home, or just want to build your reading skills, this page is for YOU. I've collected some great tools to help you become a stronger, more confident reader and hopefully discover books you’ll love.
EPIC! – Thousands of fun books, videos, and audiobooks! (Free during school hours with our class code.)
Libby / OverDrive – Borrow real books and audiobooks from the public library using a free library card. Ask me if you need help getting one!
Open Library – Like a giant online library where you can “check out” tons of books.
Goodreads https://www.goodreads.com/ – Track books you’ve read and find new ones based on your favorites.
Look for a book and check the Points Goals -- https://www.arbookfind.com/UserType.aspx?RedirectURL=%2fdefault.aspx – Find books by genre, reading level, or topic.
Try to read at least 20–30 minutes a day!
Use a reading log or journal to track what you read. I can give you one if you want!
Challenge yourself to read different genres this year—fantasy, mystery, nonfiction, graphic novels, and more.
Reading for fun builds fluency!
If a book feels boring or too hard—switch it out! You deserve to read something that keeps your attention.
Not sure what to read? Come talk to me. I love helping students find just-right books.
Message me in Google Classroom or email me at tracyhall@scsb.org anytime.
I’m always here to help you grow as a reader.
