Class Rules, Guidelines, and Expectations

• Be kind, considerate, and respectful of everything and everyone in the classroom.

• No rude or inappropriate language or comments.

• Follow the SCSB Electronic Communication Device policy.

• Arrive to class on time. 

• Always come prepared with your notebook, pen or pencil, and Chromebook when needed. If you need paper, a pencil, or a highlighter, these are all available by the door. Get these materials at the beginning of class. 

• Do not break or mistreat pencils or highlighters.

• Be present, focused, and engaged in what we are doing. 

• Put forth your best effort on all assignments.

• Give yourself at least 10 minutes to think, process, and work before asking for help. 

• Use the restroom between classes. You will be allowed one pass per class period per day. You will not be allowed to leave class more than one time per day (if necessary). 

• When leaving class, always make a SmartPass on the Chromebook by the door. Always end your pass upon returning to class. 

• No backpacks in the classroom unless allowed for medical or mandated reasons.
