SCRIBBLE INK ACADEMY
THE GO-TO LAB FOR THE CLEVER CREATIVE
THE GO-TO LAB FOR THE CLEVER CREATIVE
Scribble Ink Academy is a creative development platform designed to help practitioners in all disciplines transform ambitious ideas into structured, sustainable projects.
Whether you're crafting a novel, screenplay, stage play, research project, exhibition, album, website, web series, podcast, community hub, or a quirky blend of them all, the Academy provides the guidance, resources, and support needed to move confidently from concept to completion.
Through the Creative Intelligence Profile, the InkBoard, and the InkHub, members receive a personalised development experience that helps them spend less time overwhelmed by planning, admin, and uncertainty, and more time focused on creating, developing, and delivering meaningful work.
You don't need more ideas.
You need a way to turn those ideas into reality.
HOW IT WORKS
Scribble Ink Academy is built around two connected environments designed to help creatives move from insight to implementation.
The InkBoard is your creative strategy room. Powered by your Creative Intelligence Profile, it helps you shape ideas into actionable projects, develop project briefs, identify priorities, receive personalised guidance, and build a clear roadmap for creative progress.
The InkHub is your creative headquarters. It provides a central space to access courses, workshops, resources, coaching, notes, project materials, and learning tools, ensuring everything you need to develop your craft and manage your creative practice is available in one connected environment.
The Scribble Ink Advisory Board combines intelligent technology with human-curated expertise. Each advisor has been carefully designed with a distinct personality, professional background, and area of specialism, drawing from a growing knowledge bank of research, case studies, articles, podcasts, frameworks, and creative development resources that have been reviewed, organised, and curated by Scribble Ink founder Nadia Gasper.
Rather than generating generic responses from the internet, advisors are designed to help members navigate a structured body of knowledge shaped by years of creative practice, coaching, education, and research. This enables them to provide more meaningful, contextual guidance that reflects the realities of developing creative projects and sustainable careers.
Importantly, advisors are designed to advise, not instruct. Their role is to help you explore possibilities, identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and make informed decisions so you can combine advisor insights with your intuition, independent research, and lived experience.
The InkHub is the central hub for everything connected to your Academy experience, bringing together your projects, learning, resources, progress, and creative development activities in one place.
Part dashboard, part workspace, and part creative playground, the InkHub gives you a holistic view of your journey across Scribble Ink. Track your coaching sessions, workshop attendance, course enrolments, workbook downloads, certificates, project milestones, and Academy progress without having to search through emails, folders, or multiple platforms.
The InkHub also provides space to think, plan, and experiment. Connect your preferred note-taking tools, organise journals and project notes, save ideas, store research, and capture insights generated through the InkBoard advisory process. As your projects evolve, the InkHub becomes a living record of your development, helping you connect ideas, monitor progress, and maintain momentum.
Whether you're preparing a funding application, updating a research project, developing a creative portfolio, or requesting a project report, everything you need is visible at a glance. The result is a clearer picture of your work, your goals, and your next steps, all under one roof.

FAQs
Not in the traditional sense.
Rather than following a rigid curriculum, the Academy gives you access to advisors, resources, prompts, frameworks, and tools that adapt to your goals and creative challenges.
You decide what support you need and when you need it.
Scribble Ink Academy combines personalised profiling, structured development pathways, specialist advisors, creative resources and coaching principles into one creative ecosystem designed specifically for artists and creative thinkers.
They are two separate worlds and they offer genuinely different experiences.
Scribble Subscription membership journeys are hosted on Substack - the home for publications including the Chronicles of Nadia (fiction), the Accidental Academic journals, and selected Scribble Ink coaching content.
A paid Substack subscription unlocks the full text beyond the paywall, plus access to Scribble Nation workshops (live coaching group sessions). It's a community hub that's more self-directed: the content is preset, and you choose what plays a role in your world. It's ideal for reading, reflection, and casually dipping into workshops at your own pace.
The Academy (on Patreon) is a different thing entirely. It's a creative development programme structured, accredited, and built around your growth. The Creative Intelligence Profile, the InkBoard, InkHub access, and the ability to work towards certificates all live here.
The two do cross over. If you're on an Apprenticeship or Fellowship tier, look out for access to wider reading materials and Scribble Nation workshops. Scholarship members should watch for promotional offers and discounts. And if you're a Substack subscriber, keep an eye out for coupon codes for the Academy.
But you don't need one to access the other, and each stands completely on its own.
Worth knowing: publications aren't exclusive to Substack. Those texts, many of which double as workbooks, are also distributed across Gumroad, Ko-fi, and the Patreon shop. Your membership tier will shape what discounts you can access across those platforms, so you're welcome to purchase individual goodies as and when you feel to, without a subscription.
Each year, ten subsidised spaces are reserved for new creatives who want to begin their Scribble Ink Academy journey before taking the leap to Apprenticeship or Fellowship. Your Scholarship gives you 6 months of full InkHub Access, the full Project Pipeline Toolkit, full Creative Intelligence Profile Access, certificate moderation, resources and discounts, saving you £150 compared to an Apprenticeship membership, even with a reduced number of advisors, active projects and progress reports. At the end of your Scholarship year, you can choose to upgrade to Apprenticeship or Fellowship and carry all your work with you, or your account will be closed. You're not getting the same capacity as higher tiers, but everything you do have is fully subsidised and the clock starts the moment you join.
How the subsidies are calculated:
Based on Scribble Ink's costings for platform access, advisor management, project hosting, progress report processing and certificate moderation, the true monthly cost of your Scholarship package sits just below our Apprenticeship tier, which reflects the ever-so-slightly smaller number of advisors, active projects and progress reports than Apprenticeship members. However, with the Academy subsidising £150 of your annual membership, you're still making a significant saving on what full access to the Scribble Ink platform would otherwise cost you, giving you a genuine entry point into the Academy without the full financial commitment.
Other things to note:
How we allocate Scholarship spaces
Spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis. We don't assess ability, creative experience or economic background; the Scholarship is open to everyone, without exception. If spaces are full when you apply, you'll be added to our waitlist and notified as soon as one becomes available.
Your 6-month term
Your Scholarship runs for exactly 6 months from the date you join. As your year comes to an end, we'll be in touch with your options.
What happens at the end of your scholarship?
You can choose to upgrade to an Apprenticeship or Fellowship membership and carry all your work with you. If you decide your time with us is done, your account will be closed and all your data permanently removed from our system for your privacy and protection. Please be aware this cannot be undone.
One scholarship per person
Each Scholarship space is a one-time opportunity. Once you've had yours, it's someone else's turn.
Patreon is a membership platform that lets creators host paid communities and experiences. We use it for Scribble Ink Academy (InkHub) because it gives members a dedicated, focused space built around workshops, mentorship, and hands-on creative development, not just content. It handles memberships, payments, and access all in one place, so we can spend less time on admin and more time with you.
Not at all.
The Academy is designed for writers, artists, filmmakers, performers, facilitators, researchers, educators, producers, freelancers and creative entrepreneurs.
The Creative Intelligence Profile helps the Academy understand how you work, create, learn and solve problems.
It allows the Academy to personalise guidance and recommendations around your goals.
Upon joining, you'll complete a short onboarding process that helps the Academy understand:
Your goals
Current challenges
Creative interests
Working style
Experience level
The platform then recommends relevant advisors, resources, and development pathways based on your responses.
Think of it as having a team of specialist mentors available whenever you need guidance.
Think of the InkBoard as your virtual advisory board and creative planning tool, while the InkHub is your personal workspace. The InkBoard helps you generate ideas, solve challenges, and build project strategies. The InkHub helps you organise, track, and implement them.
The Academy combines the expertise, methodologies, and frameworks developed through Scribble Ink into a network of AI-powered advisors.
These advisors are inspired by real-world creative, business, coaching, and research disciplines and are designed to help you think through challenges, generate ideas, strengthen your workflow, and take action.
Unlike many AI tools that rely heavily on generic internet searches or broad public datasets, the Scribble Ink advisor network is built upon a continually evolving knowledge base developed and curated by Scribble Ink founder Nadia Gasper. Behind every advisor sits a living body of research, coaching insights, practical frameworks, industry knowledge, case studies, articles, notes, and observations gathered through years of professional practice as a writer, coach, educator, researcher, and creative entrepreneur.
This information is continually reviewed, refined, organised, and uploaded into the Academy ecosystem, ensuring that the guidance provided reflects real-world experience, tested methodologies, and the evolving needs of creative practitioners. The advisors are therefore not simply retrieving information—they are helping students access and navigate a structured body of knowledge shaped by human expertise.
The Academy operates through a multi-agent system, meaning that different advisors specialise in different areas of creative and professional development. This allows information, frameworks, and resources to be organised according to purpose, helping students access the most relevant guidance while creating a more personalised and scalable learning experience.
While AI helps facilitate conversations and organise information efficiently, human judgment remains at the centre of the system. Every framework, workflow, methodology, and learning pathway originates from human experience and ongoing research. The technology enables greater accessibility and responsiveness, but the strategic thinking behind the platform remains fundamentally human-led.
The term "advisor" was chosen intentionally. As storytellers, creatives, and entrepreneurs, we rarely succeed in isolation. Scribble Ink Academy has been designed to feel less like a collection of tools and more like assembling your own advisory board. Each advisor represents a different area of expertise, helping you develop the mindset of a creative leader who can confidently direct projects, collaborate across disciplines, and make informed decisions.
In many ways, the Academy offers a glimpse into the future of creative practice, where humans and intelligent systems work together. By engaging with the advisors, students learn not only how to develop their ideas and projects but also how to effectively lead teams, manage specialist knowledge, and collaborate with emerging technologies in meaningful and purposeful ways.
AI is the tool used to amplify the human experience, not replace it.
Our advisory board has been structured to support creators at every stage of their journey. Rather than restricting access based on status, each tier is designed to provide the right support at the right time.
Scholarship members receive access to advisors focused on turning ideas into action, covering creativity, planning, wellbeing, and audience growth.
Apprenticeship members unlock additional specialist support in areas such as funding, publishing, production, data, community engagement, and social impact.
Fellowship members gain access to the full advisory board, including advanced expertise in branding, finance, technology, PR, legal matters, distribution, and commercial growth.
This means every member has access to a complete and meaningful support system, while each tier introduces new opportunities as projects become more ambitious and complex.
Depending on your membership level, you may have access to advisors covering areas such as:
Creative Writing
Story Development
Character Design
World-building
Productivity
Accountability
Marketing
Personal Branding
Business Development
Creative Enterprise
Confidence and Mindset
Research and Reflection
New advisors will be added as the Academy grows.
Yes.
The Academy supports both creative and entrepreneurial development, including project planning, funding applications, marketing, audience development and sustainable creative practice.
The short answer is: as much as you need.
The Advisory Board isn't designed to separate art from enterprise. Creative development, project planning, wellbeing, marketing, funding, collaboration, and delivery often influence one another, and every creator's journey is different.
You can use the advisors to support the artistic, practical, and entrepreneurial aspects of your project within the scope of their expertise. Sometimes the advice you receive will directly strengthen the creative work itself. At other times, it may help you improve the systems, partnerships, funding, audience development, or logistics that make the work possible.
The advisors are not there to take over your creative process or make artistic decisions for you. Their role is to help ensure that the wider ecosystem surrounding your project is supported, so you can focus on being a creator rather than carrying the responsibilities of an entire advisory board on your own.
At the heart of every project is your creative vision. The Advisory Board simply helps you build the foundations that allow that vision to thrive.
The InkHub is your Academy home base. It brings together your projects, learning, resources, progress, coaching activity, and creative development tools in one place, making it easier to stay organised and focused on your goals.
Not at all.
The InkHub is designed to be flexible. Some creators use it as a simple dashboard to track Academy activity, while others use it as a central workspace for managing research, notes, project plans, and creative development.
No.
Whether you're starting your first project or scaling an established creative practice, the Academy is designed to meet you where you are.
You're exactly who we built this for!
The Academy is designed to help you identify priorities, organise your thinking and turn scattered ideas into structured action.
Nope!
Your board of creative advisors wouldn't be rude enough to take away the joy, challenge and personal growth that comes from creating something yourself.
They won't write your novel, compose your music, direct your film, build your website or submit your funding application on your behalf.
What they will do is help you build a clearer path towards those goals.
You can use the InkBoard to develop project pipelines, identify priorities, organise next steps and track progress over time through reports and recommendations.
You can use the InkHub to store ideas, manage resources, access learning materials, capture thoughts, organise project information and build a central home for your creative development.
As you progress, you'll also have opportunities to evidence your learning and apply for certificates that recognise your commitment to ongoing creative and professional development.
The advisors are there to advise, not instruct. You are never required to follow a recommendation simply because an advisor suggested it.
In an increasingly digital world, there is a responsible way to engage with AI; one that amplifies creativity rather than replacing it.
One of the core principles of Scribble Ink Academy is that you remain the author of your work, the owner of your ideas and the decision-maker behind your project. You are the CEO.
Because the goal of Scribble Ink Academy isn't to help you start more half-baked, incomplete projects. It's to help you finish the right ones!
Every Academy pathway includes a project allowance:
Scholarship: up to 3 active projects
Apprenticeship: up to 6 active projects
Fellowship: up to 9 active projects
These limits are intentional.
As creatives, it's easy to mistake being busy for being productive. We collect ideas, start new ventures, create endless notes and jump between exciting opportunities, but sometimes at the expense of completing the work that matters most.
The Academy encourages a more thoughtful approach.
By limiting the number of active projects, we're helping you focus your energy, make strategic decisions and build sustainable creative habits rather than juggling an overwhelming number of competing priorities.
This approach also supports one of our core values: creative wellbeing.
Your time, attention and energy are finite resources. The Academy is designed to help you use them wisely.
When a project reaches a natural conclusion, you're welcome to download and archive your materials, freeing up space to begin developing a new idea.
Think of your project allowance not as a restriction, but as a curated portfolio of the ideas you're actively choosing to bring to life.
After all, nine completed projects will usually take you much further than ninety unfinished ones.
