Terms and Conditions
1. About Scribble Ink
Scribble Ink Story Consultancy is a creative story consultancy led by Nadia Gasper.
The business operates across multiple capacities, including:
coaching and consultancy
education and training
publishing and content creation
events and programme delivery
research and development
These capacities may be described using terms such as:
Scribble Ink Academy, Scribble Ink Publishing, Scribble Ink Productions, Scribble Ink Coaching Practice, and Scribble Ink Research & Development.
These are descriptive operational styles only and do not constitute separate legal entities.
2. Services Covered
These terms apply to all Scribble Ink offerings, including but not limited to:
Scribble Island Coaching (Foundation, Growth, Mastery)
Scribble Ink Academy programmes
Scribble Nation workshops
Scribble Escapes (retreats)
Scribble Gigs (micro-commissions and group delivery)
Creative writing courses and challenges
Workbooks, Scrolls (SRNs), and templates
Digital content (Substack, podcasts, downloads)
Speaking engagements and collaborations
Pop-up events and coaching
Merchandise and branded materials
3. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once:
payment (or deposit) has been received, and
confirmation has been issued by Scribble Ink
All services are subject to availability and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Scribble Ink reserves the right to decline or postpone bookings where:
capacity is limited
required information has not been provided
the project is not a suitable fit
4. Fees and Payment
All fees are confirmed in advance and must be paid via approved online payment methods.
Depending on the service, payment may be structured as:
full upfront payment
deposit plus balance
instalment plans
milestone payments (for partnerships)
Unless otherwise agreed:
payment must be received before delivery begins
late payment may result in delayed or suspended services
Refunds and Exchanges
Deposits are generally non-refundable once time and preparation have been allocated
Fees for services already delivered or scheduled are non-refundable
Exchanges or transfers may be offered at Scribble Ink’s discretion
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
5. Consumer Bookings (Coaching, Workshops, Sessions)
Rescheduling and Cancellations
One reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice
Less than 48 hours’ notice = session forfeited
Missed sessions (no-shows) are non-refundable
If Scribble Ink cancels:
an alternative date or full refund will be offered
Session Conduct
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time
Late arrival may reduce session time
Clients are responsible for accessing links, materials, and locations
Pre-Session Preparation
Pre-read material is capped at 15 pages per session unless agreed otherwise
Materials must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance
6. Group Sessions and Programmes
Group spaces are collaborative, respectful environments.
Participants must:
engage respectfully
avoid disruptive or harmful behaviour
maintain confidentiality
Scribble Ink reserves the right to remove participants without refund where behaviour is:
abusive
discriminatory
disruptive
unsafe
Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly stated. Recording or redistribution without permission is not allowed.
7. Digital Products and Subscriptions
Digital Products
Products may include:
PDFs
Word documents
downloadable resources
online content
Clients are responsible for ensuring compatibility with their devices.
Where digital content is accessed or downloaded immediately, you may be asked to confirm that delivery begins straight away and that cancellation rights are affected accordingly, where permitted by law.
Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
Benefits apply only while subscription is active
Misuse of subscription services may result in termination
Community spaces (e.g. forums) do not replace structured coaching services.
8. Coaching Relationship and Responsibility
Scribble Ink provides coaching and consultancy, not guaranteed outcomes.
Coaching is co-creative and discretionary
Results depend on client engagement and implementation
Editing services are not included unless explicitly agreed
Clients must:
submit original work
engage professionally
respect communication boundaries
9. Intellectual Property
All Scribble Ink materials remain the intellectual property of Scribble Ink, including:
frameworks
teaching materials
templates
branding and content
These materials are for personal or internal use only and may not be:
reproduced
distributed
sold
repurposed commercially
Creative Ownership
Clients retain ownership of their original work.
10. Submissions and Release
By submitting work, you confirm:
you are the original author
you grant permission for review and feedback
Scribble Ink is not liable for:
similarities with other works
copyright registration (client responsibility)
11. Business-to-Business (B2B) and Partnerships
For organisational partnerships (including Scribble Impact):
scope of work will be agreed in writing
fees may follow milestone or project structures
partners are responsible for:
participant management
safeguarding
staffing and logistics
Additional work outside scope may incur additional fees.
12. Monitoring, Evaluation and Research
Programmes may include:
feedback collection
attendance tracking
evaluation and reporting
Scribble Ink may use anonymised insights for:
internal development
research
publications
case studies
No identifying information will be used without consent.
13. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to:
protect sensitive information
respect privacy of materials, methods, and participants
Confidential information may only be disclosed:
with consent
where legally required
where safeguarding concerns arise
14. Data Protection (GDPR)
Personal data is:
stored securely
used only for relevant business purposes
never sold to third parties
Data may be shared with trusted service providers where necessary for delivery (e.g. payment platforms, booking systems, learning platforms).
15. Media and Promotion
Some programmes or events may be photographed or recorded.
Where applicable:
notice will be given in advance
consent or opt-out options will be provided
16. Safeguarding and Child Protection
Participants under 16 require parental/guardian consent
Safeguarding procedures must be followed at all times
Any breach of safeguarding expectations may result in:
immediate termination
referral where appropriate
17. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Scribble Ink is committed to inclusive, respectful, and accessible practice.
All participants and partners are expected to contribute to a safe and respectful environment.
18. Liability
Scribble Ink will deliver services with reasonable care and skill.
However, we are not liable for:
indirect or consequential loss
loss of income, opportunity, or reputation
outcomes dependent on client action
Liability is limited to the value of the service purchased.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
19. Force Majeure
Scribble Ink is not liable for delays or disruption caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
illness
technical failure
transport disruption
extreme events
Where possible, alternative arrangements will be offered.
20. Termination
Scribble Ink may terminate services without refund where:
terms are breached
behaviour is inappropriate
payment is not received
Either party may terminate a partnership with written notice where the agreement is no longer viable.
Fees for work already completed remain payable.
21. Amendments
These terms may be updated from time to time.
New terms apply to future bookings
Existing bookings are governed by the terms agreed at the time, unless otherwise required
22. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
