Scribble Ink Terms and Conditions

By engaging with any programme, product or service provided by Scribble Ink Story Consultancy, you agree to the following terms:
1. Services Covered
These terms apply to all Scribble Ink offerings, including:
Scribble Island Coaching (Foundation, Growth, Mastery)
Scribble Ink Academy
Scribble Nation Workshops
Scribble Escapes (Retreats)
Scribble Gigs: Micro Commissions
Creative Writing Courses and Challenges
Workbooks and Scrolls (SRNs)
Digital Content (Substack, podcasts, downloads)
Speaking Engagements and Collaborations
Pop-Up Events and Pop-Up Coaching
Merchandise and Branded Materials
2. Payments and Pricing
All payments are non-refundable. However, exchanges may be permitted at the discretion of Scribble Ink.
All transactions must be made online.
Scribble Online course fees and terms of use are outlined on the Udemy platform and governed by Udemy’s affiliate programme.
Scribble Island is a one-to-one service only. For group sessions, refer to Scribble Gigs: Micro Commissions.
Bundle fees must be paid at least one hour before the first session.
Prices may change in line with UK inflation and CPI. Confirmed bookings are not subject to retroactive price changes.
3. Service Hosting and Venues
Scheduled workshops and Scribble Island coaching are hosted online.
In-person sessions may be arranged under the terms outlined in the Scribble Gigs section.
4. Bookings
All prices listed on the Bookings Calendar are in GBP and include the services described for each session type.
Full payment is required at the time of booking via our TidyCal system (secured by Stripe).
For sessions with additional fees (e.g. in-person delivery), a separate payment link will be issued. This must be paid at least 24 hours prior to the session start time. If unpaid, the session will revert to its online format.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
You may reschedule your session once, free of charge, provided we receive at least 48 hours’ notice.
To request a reschedule, reply to your confirmation email or contact us via the website form.
Missed appointments or reschedule requests made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.
All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed, including online and in-person sessions.
No-shows or cancellations without adequate notice will result in forfeiture of the session.
If Scribble Ink cancels or reschedules a session, you will be offered a full refund or alternative date.
Session Conduct
Please arrive promptly. Sessions begin at the scheduled time.
You are responsible for accessing the correct links, materials, and locations as provided.
Any preparation (e.g., script submissions) should be completed 24 hours in advance unless stated otherwise.
Group Sessions
Group sessions are collaborative and respectful spaces. Sharing, feedback, and discussion are encouraged.
Discrimination, harassment, or disruption may result in removal without refund.
Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly stated. Please do not record or share content without permission.
Creative Work and Materials
All materials provided by Scribble Ink are for personal use only and may not be redistributed, published, or monetised.
You retain full ownership of your original work.
5. Client–Coach Dynamic
Scribble Ink is a sole-trader entity led by Nadia Gasper.
Coaching is co-creative and discretionary; outcomes remain the client’s responsibility.
Editing services are not included beyond consultation or coverage offerings.
The Scribble Ink name and assets are protected by UK copyright law.
6. Author Responsibility
Pre-reads are capped at 15 pages per session unless otherwise agreed.
Minimum two working days’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules.
Contact should be limited to agreed platforms and business hours.
Clients must submit original work. Plagiarism is not tolerated.
Abusive, inappropriate, or threatening behaviour may result in immediate termination without refund.
7. Submission Release Clause
By submitting material, clients confirm authorship and grant permission for evaluation.
Scribble Ink is not liable for similarities with other projects or submissions.
Copyright registration remains the responsibility of the client.
8. B2B Responsibility
Partner organisations must provide safeguarding, staffing, and insurance for group delivery.
Only end users may sign submission or release forms.
Scheduling and attendance management is the responsibility of the B2B partner.
9. Time Schedules
Services are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is not guaranteed until confirmation is received.
10. Media Notice
Sessions may be photographed or filmed for promotional use and safeguarding.
Participants may request access to media featuring them or opt out where appropriate.
11. Safeguarding and Child Protection
Enhanced DBS documentation is available upon request.
Participants under the age of 16 require written parental consent.
Any unauthorised child contact will result in termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
12. Privacy Policy – GDPR
Personal data is stored securely and used solely for the purpose of delivering Scribble Ink services.
We never sell or share your information with third parties.
13. Online Safety
Bullying, hate speech, or harmful content is strictly prohibited in any Scribble Ink space.
“Camera-on” participation is encouraged for group sessions unless otherwise agreed.
Confidentiality is expected in all workshops, coaching spaces, and forums.
14. Subscriptions
Membership Journey 0 is a limited free subscription.
Membership Journeys 1–3 are billed monthly or annually.
Discounts, gifts, and perks apply only to active subscribers.
Misuse or abuse of the subscription service may result in termination.
The Ask Me Anything Forum is a casual community space and does not replace structured coaching or consultation services.
15. Awards and Accreditation
Scribble Ink is an Arts Award Centre and may offer AQA UAS and CPD certification.
Moderation and certification must be agreed in advance and may incur additional fees.
16. Digital Resources
All products are offered as fillable PDFs, Word documents, or digital files.
Clients are responsible for checking compatibility with their devices.
17. Imagery and Stationery
All visual and branding assets used by Scribble Ink are royalty-free or legally licensed.
18. Intellectual Property
Scribble Ink is a registered trademark and trading name.
All media, merchandise, and content are protected under UK IP law and Canva’s usage terms.
19. Amendments
Scribble Ink reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
Significant changes will be communicated to current clients.
20.Scribble Ink DBA (Descriptive Trading Styles and Operational Capacities of Scribble Ink Limited)
1. Core Identity and Trading Styles
Scribble Ink Limited is a creative story consultancy. In delivering its services, the company may operate under several descriptive trading styles, including “Scribble Ink Publishing,” “Scribble Ink Productions,” “Scribble Ink Academy,” “Scribble Ink Coaching Practice,” and “Scribble Ink Research & Development.” These styles are used for branding and operational clarity only and do not constitute separate legal entities or formally registered trading names unless expressly stated. All services provided under these styles are undertaken solely by Scribble Ink Limited.
Operational Capacities
2. Publishing House Capacity
In its capacity as a publishing house (“Scribble Ink Publishing”), Scribble Ink Limited undertakes activities including, without limitation:
the development, editing, design, and production of literary works;
the publication and distribution of print books, e-books, serialised works, workbooks, guides, and related written materials;
the creation and management of associated editorial, marketing, and promotional content.
3. Production Company Capacity
In its capacity as a production company (“Scribble Ink Productions”), the company undertakes activities including, without limitation:
the creation, recording, editing, and distribution of audio, video, photographic, and multimedia materials;
the development of digital campaigns, trailers, story-based media, and promotional assets;
the management of media production workflows supporting creative, educational, and promotional outputs.
4. Learning Provider and Award Centre Capacity
As a registered UK learning provider and award centre (“Scribble Ink Academy”), Scribble Ink Limited undertakes activities including, without limitation:
the design, delivery, and administration of educational programmes, courses, and training initiatives;
the creation and maintenance of learning materials, assessments, qualifications, and accreditation frameworks;
the management of learner progression, certification, records, and internal quality assurance processes.
5. Coaching Practice Capacity
In its capacity as a coaching practice (“Scribble Ink Coaching Practice”), the company provides activities including, without limitation:
creative, narrative, and professional coaching services;
1:1 and group consultancy, workshops, seminars, and professional development sessions;
manuscript development support, idea generation, editorial guidance, and creative enterprise planning.
6. Research and Development Capacity
In its capacity as a research and development laboratory (“Scribble Ink Research & Development”), Scribble Ink Limited undertakes activities including, without limitation:
the development, testing, and refinement of narrative, creative, pedagogical, and adaptation-based frameworks;
practice-based research aligned with the company’s academic and professional methodologies, including research undertaken as part of the director’s doctoral studies;
the creation, evaluation, and documentation of intellectual property arising from research activity, including tools, models, exercises, templates, and learning systems;
integrating research findings into Scribble Ink’s publishing, coaching, educational, and production capacities;
the dissemination of research outputs through creative, academic, commercial, or public channels.
Legal Clarifications
7. Integrated Operational Structure
All capacities described in this section form part of the unified operations of Scribble Ink Limited. These capacities do not constitute separate companies or legal persons. All rights, obligations, liabilities, and responsibilities arising from such capacities remain solely with Scribble Ink Limited.
8. Rights Unaffected
Nothing in this section alters, limits, or diminishes the statutory or contractual rights of clients, learners, collaborators, or service users. This clause exists solely to clarify the operational capacities and descriptive trading styles through which Scribble Ink Limited conducts its business.
