Google Classroom

What is Google Classroom?

SCSS uses Google Apps for Education. The education version of Google Apps includes access to a variety of resources including Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Classroom. The Google Apps suite of resources can be accessed from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection and with any internet browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, etc).

All SCSS teachers are required to have a Google Classroom account for their classes. Google Classroom is a free web service developed by Google for schools that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students. (source: Wikipedia)
